Dale Yacht Club is seeking a new tenant for its Restaurant & Bar in the popular sailing and tourist village of Dale (Pembrokeshire).  The Club House business caters to tourists and local residents in addition to Club Members.

The restaurant seats 60 with stunning views, a seperate bar, a rooftop terrace and a fully equiped kitchen.

This is a unique opportunity to run your own restaurant and bar business with no capital outlay or long term lease commitments.

THE ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are ideally seeking a couple / 2 applicants - Manager and Chef.

You will be responsible for all aspects of the running of the Restaurant and Bar, within the terms of the Agreement including the hiring and employment of staff required in the business.

The Restaurant is expected to offer a range of good quality food at competitive prices, appealing both to discerning guests and to families, with high levels of customer service in a friendly and welcoming environment.

In conjunction with the Club, you are encouraged to develop promotions for Club members to encourage increased usage of the Club and to provide the catering facilities for Club events. 

WHAT THE CLUB IS  LOOKING FOR IN A TENANT

A self-starter with the enthusiasm and experience to run their own successful restaurant business.

Successful experience in the catering industry, particularly in the cooking and presentation of a high quality of food.

The ability to develop and deliver interesting and balanced menus.

The skill and experience to develop the Restaurant ambience and theme.

Good communication and customer service skills to enable them to deal with customers from a wide range of backgrounds.

A desire to work with the Club to develop the restaurant to joint benefit.

A capability to manage the financial aspects of their own business. and to liaise effectively with the Club Treasurer.

An individual with the personality and presence to develop and maintain an atmosphere to ensure that the Club becomes the customer's first choice for dining in the area.
