About NMHR

NM Human Resources was established in 2007 by HR specialist Nia Marshall and incorporated in 2009. Today the team of consultants, located in prestigious offices on Milford Marina, offer the full cycle of people management  services from all stages of recruitment and retention through payroll and staff development to performance management and disciplinaries. In addition to the support provided under Red Kite HR, NMHR have appointed Advisors on the Welsh Government’s Workforce Development Programme and have assisted over 100 local employers to access in excess of £150,000 of funding for training. Specialist Investors in People Advisors have helped 5 local businesses achieve Investors in People recognition and NMHR’s commitment to professional development and business improvement was recently recognised by achieving the Investors in People Bronze Award.
Working in association with Landsker Business Centre, NMHR also provide business management support through a range of Welsh Government funded programme's.  Support includes business planning, accessing finance, market research, market development and marketing planning.


 

Nia Marshall - Director

With extensive generalist HR experience gained within Anheuser-Bush Europe Ltd. (Budweiser) and Sotheby’s Europe, Nia is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, a Chartered Manager of the Chartered Management Institute, a Member of the Institute of Leadership and Management and won the Institute of Consulting Best Newcomer to Consultancy UK Award 2009. Having run her own businesses in Pembrokeshire for over 8 years Nia understands the issues local businesses face in employing the right people and remaining compliant with legislation. Nia is an accredited trainer, an Investors in People Advisor, a SFEDI Business Advisor, a Welsh Government HR Development Advisor and Food Business Development Advisor, a Farming Connect Consultant, a Menter a Busnes Cywain Fisheries Mentor and a Wales Co-operative Centre Social Enterprise Advisor.  Nia sits on the Board of the Torch Theatre, is Secretary and Treasurer of the West Wales CMI Network and a Member of the Cleddau 2 Coast Pembrokeshire Fisheries Local Action Group.  Outside work Nia’s energy is focused on her daughter and husband, spending as much time as possible on or near the water, fishing, rock-pooling and beach combing.

 

Caroline Mathias - HR Consultant

Caroline is an experienced and qualified HR consultant with a generalist HR background and practical management experience gained through setting up and running her own business in Pembrokeshire. She joined NMHR in 2009 to develop the training and performance management programme for clients and led the business in achieving Investors in People recognition. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development and the Institute of Leadership & Management.
Caroline balances her busy role at NMHR with her role as mum of 2 and step mum of 2, making time when possible to enjoy walking and bird watching with her husband.

 

 

Erin Smith - Admin Manager

Having completed her studies in Computer in Art and Design, Erin joined NMHR in 2011 to develop and manage the company administration systems, including the website and all social networking projects.  Erin provides virtual admin support for clients, offers website design and hosting services, and on line marketing guidance. Proficient in all Microsoft packages, SAGE ACT! and the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks and Acrobat, Erin is experienced in using Twitter and Facebook and actively ensures she remains up to date with technological advances.  With her broad spectrum of administration and office management skills, Erin is an integral part of the company and ensures the smooth running of our busy office.  When Erin isn’t studying for her NVQ in Business and Administration she enjoys spending time with her family and doing her own graphic design projects.
